Bedspread/Dooner Cover “Japanese Inspiration”

ImageI was inspired by the beautiful Japanese drawings I keep seeing around, so I had a go at doing my own, not perfect but love them as they are, all drawn the patterns made from the drawings, all fabrics backed and then applied with zig zag stitch to separate rectangles, then sewn in long lines and all joined together. I found in an op shop the green silk that joins all the element together and who can resist using red printed silk from Textile Traders, to finish it all.
